Personal Note From Neil
Dear Friend,
Your commitment, time and efforts are worth this! Nine months seems long, yet it passes so quickly that right from the beginning you need to be ready for a shift in your workload. Reading a book and multiple articles every month, watching related videos, developing a daily pain self-care practice, and applying all this knowledge to your current work requires most people between 5-8 additional hours each week.
This mentorship is not just about basic science, terminology and philosophy. Equally important is your ability to translate your knowledge into improved pain care outcomes – including writing of reports, recording self-care techniques as audio files for your clients, sharing case studies with your peers, and offering a pain education session. When you learn more perspectives about pain, you will more effectively share your knowledge with others. When you practice writing and discussing pain and pain care in your own words, you find new ways to ‘say more with fewer words’.
Join this community of like-minded health professionals and yoga therapists.
Become a leader.
